CSLA Regional Summits 2015

In June, 2015, four Regional Summits, generously sponsored by grants from the Wellness  and Archstonefoundations,  were held  in Central Northern California, Greater Bay Area, Southern California Los Angeles andSouthern California San Diego,.    These Regional Summits completed the transition for CSLA from Cal Berkeley to Community Partners the new fiscal  sponsor.  The agenda for each meeting  included an orientation on Community Partners and the  new Financial Guidelines for CSLA .

Executive Associate,  Carolyn Fowler,  reviewed her Summit   media presentation, and established Media committees in each Region to develop  a relationship with local media  to promote CSLA and its mission.  The highlight for each Regional Summit was a presentation by representatives from the Village Movement that included Andy Gaines, Executive Director Ashby Village for Greater Bay Area;  Brandi Orton, Members Service Director Real Connections , for So Cal Los Angeles; Kate Hoepke, Executive Director, San Francisco Village for Central Northern Calif.; and Susan Deininger, Tierra Santa Village, Janis Trantham TSV Grants, Agnes Conradt, Elders in Their Element, and  Carl Demas, Serra Mesa Village for So Cal San Diego.
